I want all GW characters to die. lets just stop the entire storyline and hire soem comedians and put in clown armor and jokes everywere. the story is so confusing, stupid and down right pathetitic that it's already is one big joke. Im always trying to be optimistic about everything but GWs story is what stops it from being a truly great game.

you can't even go in and play GW on a computer cafee because you are so embarrased over the story on Anets behalf. It makes me truly sad. I loooooove this game, and will of course buy campaign 3.

Just stop making story. please!

This is where I am as well.

'Nightfall' doesn't link in my mind to the Islamic world.

Nor, if we go to western, eastern, or southern Africa instead does it link to black-African cultures.

I only get a visual when I think of 'Heart of Darkness' or 'the dark continent' - and this kind of terminology with regards to black Africans has long been seen as racist.

I for one am hoping for a huge ancient Egypt theme:

I know that it can be anything they want but I am hoping for things like pyramids, mummies, khopeshes (sp?), pharoahs, a "Nile" river, scarab beetles, etc.

If it is a full map then I see no problem with a strong Egyptian theme in one area and more african jungle in the other.

I don't know about you guys but I am holding out for Guild Wars 4: Organized Labor!

In the 4th chapter of Guild Wars all of the various Guilds are tired of being mistreated by their respective Guild Leaders. The common Guild members unite against the rule of their leaders and demand better healthcare, full life insurance and benefits as well as better hours and a 401k.

This chapter gives the power to the little man and allows guilds to organize strikes and hire representatives to negotiate with the leaders.

Default erm, a lil suggestion?

I'm not sure if anyone in this thread have already noticed, but, goto the Guild Wars home page and tell me what culture the ritualist is based from.

seriously, is blatantly obvious that the Ritualist is taken from the African culture. I did my homework and did the research on the subject of "summoners" and "shamans" in Africa, and they all have something in common. the fancy tattoos that covers a large portion of their appendages and the unique attire.

so im guessing that theres a connection between the Ritualist and chapter 3. and I'm betting that the Ritualist henchmen will play the same role as the Monk hench did for chapter 2.

just my 2 cent

Things I would honestly like to see in Chapter 3.

1] Whips for Beastmasters, and make them easier to play in PvE with skill revisions etc.

2] Staves for Wilderness Survival Ranger (aka Trappers)'

3] Mounts to be used in areas to travel to a new area without doing a quest inbetween (but make the quest mandatory to access the next mission)

4] Druid (yes, I want a Druid, and I don't mean a mix between a Ranger and a Ritualist). By Druid, I want a nature controlling wizard who can summon vines to entangle his foes, and shapeshift into different animals based on the situation, or summon a giant hawk to pick up all party members to take them across a crevace. That would just be amazing.

5] The ability to JUMP!

6] More emotes! (Factions didn't add any to my knowledge)

7] More vibrant spell animations for the mesmer, Necromancer, and Ritualist. They are somewhat mundane. The elementalist spell animations in Factions are MUCH IMPROVED, just look at Breath of Fire.

8] Tons of new pets (the Factions new pets where a GREAT START)

9] Invisibility, Sneak, w/e you want to call it, incase you just want to explore and not fight. It comes off if you attack or cast or use another skill.

10] A better map system, with arrows that slide to the next continent instead of having to multimap with that retarded BOAT symbol! ARG!

That's what I would like to see, for PvE at least. Any comments?

I wanna see that alien-like Seer's race in some chapter. Possible new professions would be FBI Agent and some weird Plasmagunner...

No wait! There goes the orginality!

This is a great topic, I just love to read you people guessing and proposing stuff! Keep on the good work. BTW is true, what somebody stated, that Anet won't EVER do Elves? That would be a bugger.

Yeah, and that possible Spearman profession, could just be called "Lancer", cause it sounds cooler. They could also add some more stuff that is amusing in major cities, like pubs and casinos and a Gold Saucer...

Awww, I thought Chapter 3 would have a Scottish theme?!

I like whips, but they would fit a new proffession better. An evil proffesion perhaps.

No, dear god no. Mounts are for WoW, but in GW they serve absolutely no purpose. The areas are far too small to validate their use. Besides, there would be lots of balance issues regarding combat on a mount.

Oh I hope not! Last thing we want is bunny hopping in the pvp arenas. Besides, you would need to change the entire invisible wall system inherit to the GW engine.

If /preorder and /dancenew count, then they did. But what we are really waiting for is a whole new set of emotes, like /kiss for example. So I agree.

I'm sure there will be new pets with every chapter. Don't worry.

I think the aggro-circle system already works fine in this way. You can sneak around, but get too close and foes see you. I see no need for change.

Agreed, it would be nice to be able to check the Cantha map while in Tyria for example. It would also be nice to have a few secret quests that span multiple continents.

Ive got it. In ch 3 we all get armor that makes us look like bender from futurama and we stand in big chorus lines singing show tunes while throwing pickle chips at each other. Now that sounds like fun.

I'm really hating the idea of the martial artist type class being bald like the monks. But it's just a concept sketch I guess.

Default Ranger would be a good secondary wepon for ranger.

"Ranger would be a good secondary wepon for ranger" I actually wanted to say whip would be a good secondary wepon for ranger as it ties toghter with beast mastery.

Throw in a spear to that be cool, hmm maybe the next 2 classes will wield spears and wips lol.
Tho guys I wanto see the games Actually merge toghter have more to do with each other instead of just having one game over throw the other, I'd like to see missions that actually tie toghter the continents.
